If you click on the Output/Synth tab in Setup, you will see this screen.

Choose the synthesizer you will be using from the menu of synthesizers by clicking on the down arrow which is on the right hand side of the synthesizer name. If your synthesizer has microtunable capabilities and it does not appear on the list, please contact us (see Technical Support in Appendix 1).
The first synthesizer on the list is "ALL Synthesizers - Pitch Bend" which you would choose if you decide to use the Pitch Bend Tuning method. The remaining synthesizers on the list all use the MIDI System Exclusive Tuning method.
Be sure to click on the Synth details button to see the information that is specific to your synth. The Details screen may also have additional settings that must be set in order for your synth to receive the tuning messages from the Pitch Palette.
The Pitch Palette provides two methods of tuning your synthesizer.
If your synth has microtuning capabilities, it accepts tuning data in the form of a MIDI System Exclusive (SysEx) message which is used exclusively by that manufacturer. You must select a synthesizer in order to activate this Tuning method.
The MIDI Pitch Bend command tunes all the notes of the channel receiving a Pitch Bend message. In order to tune each of the 12 semitones independently, the Pitch Palette program redirects each of the incoming MIDI semitones to 12 different MIDI channels, each of which have been tuned using Pitch Bend messages and are all set to play the same instrument.
It uses the default tuning range setting of two semitones per semitone, however, you can change that setting on the Pitch Bend synth details window. To enable Pitch Bend tuning, 12 MIDI channels and one instrument must be selected.
To activate this Tuning method, you should select the first synthesizer on
the list - ALL Synthesizers - Pitch Bend.
