DEMO MIDI FILES

The following MIDI files demonstrate the difference between the conventional tuning of Equal Temperament and the Harmonic Classic tuning (one of 53) included with the Pitch Palette software.

These files will let you hear the difference between tunings, without having to purchase the Pitch Palette software. Because they are standard MIDI files, both PC and MAC users will be able to utilize them.

In order to use these files you need :

A Roland GS Synthesizer.
A sequencer, or MIDI player, that supports Lyrics and is capable of sending System Exclusive (SysEx) messages during the playback of a sequence.

You can test your sequencer to see if it will send SysEx messages during a sequence by downloading the corresponding test file for your microtunable sequencer.

If your MIDI player does not support lyrics, please read the inclosed file justonic.txt. It explains each MIDI demo sequence.
